ICE Los Angeles arrested Jose Dolores Nava Calvillo, a 25-year-old citizen of Mexico. Nava Calvillo’s criminal history includes convictions for false imprisonment, battery, burglary, obstruct public officer, enter noncommercial dwelling incident in Ventura, CA.

Likewise, On February 13, 2025, ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Los Angeles announced the arrest of 16 unlawfully present noncitizens during a targeted enforcement initiative conducted from January 23 through February 6. The operation focused on individuals with prior felony convictions related to drug trafficking, possession, and distribution. Arrests were carried out across multiple Southern California communities, including Santa Ana, Westminster, Los Angeles, and surrounding areas.

One of the individuals arrested was a 41-year-old Mexican national apprehended in Santa Ana. He had previously been convicted in the Superior Court of California, Orange County, on January 18, 2017, for felony possession of cocaine and amphetamines with intent to sell. Records indicate he had already been removed from the United States and unlawfully reentered without inspection.

Another arrestee, also a 41-year-old Mexican citizen, was taken into custody in Westminster. He had been convicted on August 11, 2006, in Los Angeles County for felony methamphetamine possession.

Both individuals were transferred to ICE custody following their arrests and are currently being held in immigration detention facilities pending removal proceedings. They had no pending appeals or legal status at the time of apprehension.
